Night Run is a conceptual art project which includes a motorcycle video game, an NFT project about imaginary AI powered fashion houses and a series of videos documenting the creation process.
The Night Run NFTs interact with the game by allowing collectors to make aesthetic choices about the in-game seeds corresponding to the tokens they own. This brings collectors into a collaborative role, helping to curate the virtual space of the game. Collectors are able to change which music plays on a seed, which art collections are randomized across the billboards of the city and the color palette of the environment.

The game will be free to download and play exclusively via the Epic Games Store.

Seed Configurator
Download
Download the Night Run game client from the Epic Games Store.
Configure
In the game client, enter the seed gallery, choose a token you own and make artwork, music and color selections.
Copy
The game client will output a text string which contains your changes. Click the button in-game to copy this to your clipboard.
Connect wallet
Using the button on this page, connect your Ethereum wallet to this site.
Paste
Paste the string of text copied from the game client into the "seed settings" dialog box and press "save".
Drive
After a few minutes, your seed will be updated with the new settings. You can now drive your seed and see your changes in game!
About the NFT collection
The Night Run NFT collection is divided into four equal parts, each corresponding to an AI powered fashion house in the story world of the game. The game is set in an empty city in the far future which is reconstructed in a new configuration every night. The four AI, known as the Four Sisters, were originally each in charge of a luxury fashion brand when there were still people in the world. Now, over years of being alone they have become corrupted and strange. Their only means of communication with the world is through the creation of mysterious and surreal billboard advertisements.
BRONTE
House Bronte is the house of thunder, rain and flooded cities. Bronte is funeral couture for western decline, climate goth mourning wear for the post-anthropocene. Her faceless avatars pose in the collapsed atria of Manhattan banks, destroyed soccer stadiums and the ruins of global shipyards.

Team
The Artist
Night Run is a project by Matto (aka Matt Schell) and the team at Thousand Ant. Matto is a generative artist working across the media of images, music, software and worldbuilding. He is the creative director of Hypercastle Explorers, a software SDK for Terraforms by Mathcastles and The Idea Becomes a Machine, a conceptual AI art narrative exploring the work of Sol LeWitt. As a music artist he has released music for respected labels like Warp Records and recorded with artists including Skepta, DJ /rupture, Riff Raff and others under the name Matt Shadetek.
